Who I am

Boka in design is run by Beka, an illustration artist based in Devon. For any question about your details, email bokaindesign@gmail.com.

Messages

When you send a message through this site, I receive your name, email address, what it’s about and your message, so that I can reply. I keep it only as long as I need to for your question, any order or wholesale arrangement that follows, and my business records.

Buying cards

My shop runs on Shopify. When you add a card to your basket, the basket is held by Shopify, and your browser remembers only a reference to it. Checkout takes place on Shopify’s own secure pages, where you give your name, address and payment details to Shopify to complete the order. Shopify processes them for me under its own privacy policy.

Who else handles your details

• Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from abuse.
• Resend delivers the messages sent through the form to my inbox.
• Shopify runs the basket, checkout, payments and orders.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores your basket reference in your browser so your basket is still there when you come back. Shopify’s checkout may set its own cookies to complete your order.

Your rights

UK data protection law gives you rights over your personal data, including to see it, correct it, have it deleted, and object to how it is used. Email me to use any of them. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
